After a morning of shopping at Paradigm Mall, it was time to decide what we wanted to have for lunch. Hubby suggested Miraku Japanese Restaurant since he remembers that I mentioned wanting Japanese food a few days ago.
Miraku, simply means a great place for customers to enjoy great food. The interior of the restaurant is very simple. After browsing the menus, we decided to order from the set lunch menu since they are pretty good value for money.

Hubby picked the Sashimi & Sushi Set (RM38) which comes with a sashimi platter (7-pieces), sushi platter (8-pieces), salad, chawanmushi, miso soup, and fruits. For his sashimi platter he got 3 pieces of salmon, and 2 pieces each of tuna and a local fish, reasonably thick cut and very fresh.

I ordered the Mini Chirashi and Udon set (RM32), which comes with salad, chawanmushi and fruits. I enjoyed the mini chirashi very much as the sashimi was very fresh, topped on nice Japanese rice. I found the salad to be appetizing too, but the chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) is mediocre.

The waiter asked Hubby if he would like a hot towel after his meal, and he came back with two tablets. Poured water on it and voila - your hot towel, sir ;) Pretty cool huh?
And of course, a visit to Paradigm Mall is never complete without Cielo Dolci! We ended up ordering two cups of gelato as the salted caramel with fairy dust is simply too good!

Verdict: The set lunches are good value for money, plus the sashimi is really fresh. Would be interested to come back and try their RM59++ Sunday buffet.
